One platform, done properly

Optic is a Windows application: a system service that enforces the rules plus a small companion app. Other platforms are not available — any page suggesting otherwise is out of date.

Verify your download
Compare the installer's SHA-256 against the value shown above before running anything you didn't get from us directly. Until the installer is code-signed, Windows SmartScreen will ask you to confirm — that warning goes away once signed builds ship.
Updating
There is no automatic updater yet: when a new build is published here, download it and run it over the old install. Your PIN, rules and history carry over.
Uninstalling
Removal needs two things at once: a Windows administrator and your Optic parent PIN. Just one of them is not enough, by design.
